The jewelry you'll find here are all unique expressions of fun, flirty and versatile designs that you won't find anywhere else. In my own sense of style, I have always loved simple and unique jewelry that I can wear on many different occasions. I don't want to be a rubber stamp of the current style trends and if I spend money on a piece of jewelry, I want to be able to wear it for many years to come. It also never made sense to me that a single pendant would cost hundreds or thousands of dollars, and could only be worn on special occasions. In my view, jewelry should be an extension of your own personal style and expression; it's meant to be worn, enjoyed and loved. 

My mission is to create affordable jewelry that can accent a feminine style and be worn both in everyday life and on special occasions. When I first began making pendants and necklaces, I noticed that most of the choices in stone jewelry were often either mass produced or were so intricate and unique that the pieces were expensive and difficult to pair with everyday style. At Designs By Leena, you'll find affordable stone jewelry and no two pieces are the same. I use a wide variety of real stones, ethically sourced from around the world, and a diverse range of wire-wrapping styles to accent the stone's beauty. Every piece is designed and handcrafted locally in Portland, Oregon. 

Finally the name Designs By 'Leena' was inspired by my wonderful in-laws who have whole-heartedly supported this endeavor. When I married my Indian husband, my grandmother-in-law chose to give me an Indian name to celebrate my joining their family. I chose to adopt ' Leena' as my creative name to honor their love and support.
